Nicely appointed rooms with adequate amenities. Value for money.

The bathroom had windows on three sides so we had a lovely view over Bangkok while taking a bath!

Generous sized hotel rooms and great amenities

If you need to stay in this part of town the Jasmine Resort Hotel is the pick of the crop. To be fair, whilst the hotel is quite far up the Sukhumvit Road (relative to the most popular areas) it is right by a BTS (skytrain) station so it will only take you 5 minutes to reach the night life. If this hotel was better placed it would cost twice the amount. You pay for what you get and it's good value for money. When you choose a hotel you always need to balance price, the facilities and the location. We wouldn’t necessarily dismiss this hotel because of the location. Lots of people like it and it generally gets good reviews. The hotel is also quite popular for people travelling in groups, such as wedding parties, which they cater for very well.

Built in 2001, you can’t fault the appearance of the hotel or its facilities. There is a fitness room, a swimming pool, and a spa with sauna and hydro massage pool. There is also a squash court, which not many other hotels in the city have. There is also a modern restaurant serving a range of Thai and international dishes.

The rooms are quite stylish and in a good condition. They have all the normal 4* amenities like the flat screen TV with satellite channels. They are quite big also. Bear in mind the average Bangkok hotel room for 3* to 5* hotel is 28 sqm to 32 sqm. The standard room (The Jasmine Deluxe) is 35 sqm. The other two room types, the Premier Corner (44 sqm) and the Sky Bay Suite (55 sqm), both have kitchenettes, washing/drying machines and dining areas. The Sky Bay Suite also has a seating area with sofa, armchairs and a coffee table.
