Park Plaza Hotel
Sukhumvit Road Soi 18, Bangkok 10110, Thailand

book Park Plaza Hotel

Popular and award winning hotel near Asoke BTS

Since opening in 2007 the Park Plaza Hotel has proved an instant hit with Bangkok regulars. It is situated just 3 minutes walk from Asoke BTS. It is also within close walking distance of Sukhumvit MRT and the fantastic Terminal 21 shopping mall. The hotel is a modern high rise building but room numbers are limited to just 95. This is to guarantee that plenty of space is devoted to rooms and facilities.

The public spaces and rooms in the Park Plaza have an interior style that is modern with a sense of fun. There are bold colours and patterns next to the usual minimal neutral tones. The furniture is comfortable as well as eye-catching. It makes you feel good being in this hotel.

All rooms have modern sleeping and living areas with hardwood floors and boutique design. Amenities in all rooms include free wifi, 32 inch flat screen LCD TV and DVD player, allergen free feather pillows, safe, mini bar, desk and free tea and coffee making facilities.

There are 2 room types to choose from – Superior and Deluxe Corner. Superior Rooms are 29 square meters in size. The Deluxe Corner Rooms are an impressive 38 square meters in size and feature a bath tub and separate sofa corner.

The Park Plaza Hotel has a great roof top swimming pool. The building has 18 floors and the roof has a commanding view of the city. The view includes nearby Benjakiti Park. Also on the top floor is a gym with plenty of machines. You can work out and look out through floor to ceiling windows over the city. When you tire of the pool or the gym you can order food and drinks at the pool side bar.

The main restaurant is called CO2. It has a menu that features Mediterranean, Thai and International dishes. The restaurant is open 24 hours a day. Reviews include the usual moaning about the lack of variety at breakfast (all hotels in Thailand seem to get this criticism leveled at them), but people write good things about lunch and dinner. There are some cool seating options at the restaurant as well as the attached CO2 lounge.

Of course, if you prefer, you can order from the menu and have it delivered to your room.

The only noticeable omissions to the facilities at the Park Plaza are a spa and sauna. This is no great hardship as plenty of spas, beauty treatments places and saunas can be found in the surrounding area.

The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. They have been well trained to deal with customer requests. It is no wonder that the Park Plaza has won a number of awards including the Global Hospitality Award in 2010.

If you want to stay in the Sukhumvit Soi 14 to 22 area we recommend booking a room at the Park Plaza Hotel.
