Soi 1 to 5 Guide

This is a very popular area with tourists. It has some great bars and restaurants and a number of good value for money hotels. Soi 5 is very lively with the excellent Gulliver's Tavern where you can sit outside and the legendary Took Lae Dee 24 hour restaurant in Foodland supermarket. Between soi 3 and 5 there is 'Little Arabia', which is full of middle Eastern eateries and cafes. Between Soi 1 and 3 is Bumrungrad International Hospital, South East Asia's largest private hospital and the number one provider of medical services to foreign visitors in Thailand. Highly recommended for dental surgery and other cosmetic procedures.

  • Soi 1: Sombat Permpoon Gallery - over 10,000 works by Thai artists
  • Soi 1/3: Arabian Nights at the Grace Hotel - Nightly shows with bands and belly dancers
